| Sirystes is a rather rare forest flycatcher, found only occasionally deep into Pipeline Road. It is noted only rarely on local Christmas Bird Counts, and even less often by Canopy Tower tour groups. It is probably more easily found to the east of this site's coverage area. This species may be on the decline in the region, so any sighting is considered noteworthy. |
