| Scaled Antpitta is an extremely unlikely find in the area around Cerro Gaital, although I note with amusement that the Canopy Lodge advertises its rare presence in the area as if birders have any real chance of seeing it! Scaled Antpitta has been seen very occasionally at Cerro Gaital and even less often well to the east at Cerro Azul. It is certainly a prize just about anywhere in its range! |
